ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old British racing driver with a diverse background competing in rallying, sprints and of course, circuit racing. Since starting to compete in cars at 14 years of age I have constantly pushed myself to become a better driver and have been rewarded with success in a wide variety of GT and saloon car championships in the UK and Europe.

I am extremely hard-working and analytical with excellent attention to detail, always working to find marginal gains wherever possible. I appreciate the high levels of commitment and effort required to succeed in motorsport and work hard every day to learn and develop into a more complete driver to bring value and success to the teams that I work with.

My ultimate goal is to win the World Endurance Championship.

2025

This year, Josh makes the step up to the ultra-competitive Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring with SRS Team Sorg Rennsport, racing in the Cup 3 class at the wheel of a Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Josh has also been selected to join the PETN Talent Pool and will benefit from the support of Porsche and Manthey across the season.

2024

For 2024, Josh returned to the Nürburgring Langstrecken Series, driving a Hyundai i30N Fastback in the VT2-FWD class with reigning class champions, Mertens Motorsport. Sharing the car with team boss, Dany Mertens, Josh scored five wins, six podiums, five pole positions and five fastest laps across the season. The team's consistency saw them win the VT2-FWD Class and Production Car Trophy Championships, in addition to 3rd place in the overall NLS standings.

2022

In 2022, Josh made the long-awaited step up to GT4 class machinery, competing at the wheel of a Ginetta G55 GT4 in the British Endurance Championship. The season started in brilliant fashion, with a podium in each of the first three rounds and a win at Oulton Park. Josh ultimately finished the season as GT4 Vice-Champion at the end of a closely-contested championship fight.

2021

Amidst ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Covid pandemic, Josh decided to take a step back in 2021 to focus on building plans for '22. Throughout the year Josh made guest appearances in the Scottish Mod Sports series, SMRC MINI Cooper S Cup and Super Lap Scotland, scoring a total of 13 podiums from 15 events, despite racing in cars that were underpowered for their class.

2020

2020

In 2020 Josh got his first taste of endurance racing, competing with top GT team, Walkenhorst Motorsport, driving a BMW M240i Cup Car in the Nurburgring Endurance Series. Showing great progress through the season, and with the skills and experience gained from the opening races, podium finishes were the target for the latter rounds, however the Covid pandemic forced an early end to the season and Josh had to settle for a season best result of two 6th place finishes. At the end of the year Josh reunited with David Sleigh Racing to make guest appearances in the season finale of the Scottish Mod Sports Series and Super Lap Scotland, where he finished on the podium in his class in all races.

2019

Following his debut in 2018, Josh returned to the Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2019 with Race Car Consultants and also ran in the Scottish MINI Cooper Cup with David Sleigh Racing. Josh proved his speed and adaptability by collecting poles, podiums and lap records in both championships.

2019

2018

Following a successful first season on circuits, Josh stepped up to senior racing at the age of 16 to take on the highly competitive Ginetta GT5 Challenge with the Race Car Consultants squad, who were also making their debut in the series. Together, Josh and the team tackled a steep learning curve and showed continuous improvement as the season went on, finishing with a pair of top ten results at the last races of the season.

2018

2017

As much as Josh loved his time in rallying, his true passion was for circuit racing and in 2017 he decided to move over to the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship with the Race Car Consultants team. Josh quickly adapted to this new discipline and soon found himself a front-runner in the championship, taking multiple podiums and a pole position at the season finale on his way to the Rookie Cup win and 5th in the overall standings.

2017

2016

After establishing solid foundations to build from in his first year, Josh enjoyed a successful seconds season in the championship. Strong and consistent performances saw Josh finish 5th in the standings with 2 podium finishes and multiple stage wins. Through the year Josh also worked with Project eRally, testing the world's first fully electric rally car.

2016

2015

Josh took his first steps into motorsport at the age of 14, competing in the Scottish Junior Rally Championship. His age prevented him from competing in the opening rounds of the season so he started midway through the season and went on to finish 9th in the overall standings and joint 2nd in the rookie standings.
